Sorry girlies, but we were today years old when we realised not everyone knew hairspray could be used as a setting spray.
And before you come at us… yes, we’ve been doing it for years.
BUT, what we didn’t know was that hairspray has a lot of the same ingredients as the hugely popular L’Oréal Infallible Setting Mist that’s been all over our FYP for the last few months.
So naturally, we had to paste both ingredient lists into ChatGPT to see this for ourselves.
The verdict? The key ingredients doing the heavy lifting were essentially the same, but you get waaaay more bang for your buck with the hairspray.
Of course, if your skin is on the sensitive side, you might want to give this one a miss, but for us, it’s a total WINNER.
And because we’re girls’ girls and don’t gatekeep, we NEED to make sure you know this one too: a quick spritz of hairspray on your jacket collar stops foundation from transferring and, if the damage is already done, a bit of micellar water will take it right off most jackets.
